Join me on this half-day private tour as we explore one of Berlin's most remarkable landmarks: Tempelhof Airport, a massive expanse within city limits that witnessed WWII, the Berlin Airlift and the Cold War before becoming one of the city's most fascinating public spaces. We will join the airport's official two-hour guided tour, venturing into the bowels of this great concrete eagle and its vast underground levels and hidden infrastructure.​ I will complement the historical narrative with firsthand perspectives as someone who worked at Tempelhof for the Security Police Squadron, the Luftbrücke Inn (Visiting Officers' Quarters) and the Morale, Welfare and Recreation office.
